Bops Only: 10 Albums to add to your playlist in 2020

2020 is already becoming an interesting year for music. A number of prominent artists have already dropped good albums including some late drops from last year just picking up traffic.
Here are some of the really good albums both on the International and US top charts you might want to add to your playlist throughout the year.
1. Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial – Roddy Ricch
Released by Atlantic on December 6, 2019, this debut album by American rapper Roddy Ricch has been at the #1 spot on the billboard for 2 weeks. The album has several popular tracks like “The box” and “Big Stepper”.
2. Lol (Lord of Lamba) – EP – Naira Marley
Naira Marley is currently one of the biggest hitmakers in Nigeria and his Lord of Lamba EP does not disappoint. The album has produced global hits like “Tesumole” and “Mafo”.
3. Rare – Selena Gomez
Rare is the third solo studio album by American singer Selena Gomez. Well-received by music critics, Selena Gomez mainly touches on letting go and welcoming a new chapter of her life.
4. Music to be murdered by – Eminem
Eminem resurrects one of his most famous alter egos Shady in a surprise album that pays homage to Alfred Hitchcock. The album hits the mark with hard verses and disrespectful punchlines.
5. A good time – Davido
Davido’s second album which dropped in November of 2019 was the artist’s solidification as an Afrobeats icon.
6. Circles – Mac Miller
Mac Millers posthumous album Circles which would have been his sixth studio was released by Warner Records this year. The album has received all-round positive reviews and gives listeners more insight into his mental state at the time of his death in 2018.
7. Heavy Is the Head (HITH)- Stormzy
Another late 2019 release, this was one of the album releases of 2019 to bring together some of the most successful Afrobeat artists from Africa, UK, US and other continents. The album generally received favourable reviews.
8. LAUGHTER, TEARS & GOOSEBUMPS – Fireboy
Fireboy released his debut album to positive reviews in December 2019, with many critics signalling it as a positive direction for the rest of his music career.
9. I Disagree – Poppy
I Disagree is the third studio album by American singer and YouTube personality Poppy. The album is her first release on Sumerian Records following her departure from Mad Decent in 2019. It is also her final collaborative project with Titanic Sinclair before the end of their creative partnership in 2019.
10. African Giant –Burna boy
The album was released in July of last year but still a replay for 2020. It has cemented Burnaboy on a global scale as an international Artist.
