As our first playlist recommendation in August, sorry but you may already be bopping some of these songs, but here goes anyway!

1. Won’t be late – Swae Lee & Drake Team up on Tekno’s Produced Track
Tekno starts this list as a producer for global superstars Drake and Swae lee. The single released just last week is an instant hit that has already charted on the rolling stones list.
2. Gelato – DJ Cuppy ft Zlatan
Only DJ Cuppy can turn a video of her casually enjoying some Gelato in Europe with her billionaire father Otedola into a hot new single.
3. Be Honest – Jorja Smith Ft Burnaboy
The hottest Afrobeats artist Burnaboy is featured alongside US artist Jorga in new video premiered this week.
4. Do you – Sarkodie ft Mr Eazi
Empawa powerhouse Mr Eazi releases “Do you” with Ghanian Artists Sarkodie which is an instant all week bop.
5. Soapy – Naira Marley
While this hit has been out for over a month now, the video dropped about 10 days ago and has already racked over 1.2 million views on Youtube.
6. Agege – Tekno & Zlatan
The shooting of the video drew much controversy late last month for its raunchy dancers in a clear box in Lagos traffic. Many speculating it was a new low for Lagos’ deploring morals. Tekno was even arrested for public disruption. The video has now drawn over 1million views.
7. Better days – Odunsi (The Engine)
One of the more mainstream alte artists Odunsi releases the video for Better days which reminisces on older times and even samples “wetin dey” a 90s jam by Ruff Rugged.
8. King- Fireboy DML
“Jealous” crooner, Fireboy DML single King is the hottest song on our radar this week.
9. Way – Ckay ft DJ Lambo
Chocolate city, Ckay dropped “Way” with DJ Lambo this week. Although Ckay may not be as well known as DJ Lambo, this track might be the first to blow this artiste up.
10. Ejeagbo –Terry Tha Rapman ft Richeasy
Terry tha rapman is back to save the Nigerian music Industry, which is exciting news. Terry is one of the older Nigerian music artistes and this track is his reintroduction.
