In recent tweets, he lashed out at South Africa concerning the xenophobic attacks, even calling out AKA for some of his insensitive comments and tweets from the past. However, he quickly deleted some tweets and logged off twitter and urged Nigerians to “protect and defend themselves at all times”.

Burna Boy has said he will continue to love and support South Africans against xenophobia and urges that his message is against xenophobia in Africa.

Lemme also say that there are some South Africans who are Amazing, Progressive AFRICAN people and I will forever Love them like I Love myself. But they are not many at all.
