Cristiano Ronaldo breaks record in Juventus F.C Despite loss. Cristiano Ronaldo has been in fine form this year, especially in his last few games. The Portuguese star was in red-hot form in the final third but he couldn’t save his team on Saturday.
According to goal.com, Ronaldo celebrated his 35th birthday midweek. He scored the first goal in the 65th minute after he created an entry point in the scoring box. Consequently firing a low shot into the bottom left corner.
The Juventus star scored the only goal in Juventus’ shock defeat against Hellas Verona. He becomes the first Juventus player to score in 10 straight Serie A matches. As a result, the former Real Madrid man has taken his league tally for the season up to 20.
Thus, Cristiano Ronaldo beats Trezeguet’s record at Juve.
English broadcaster, and television personality, Piers Morgan took to Twitter to congratulate the Juventus record breaker after the match.

Although, the away match at Hellas Verona was one Juventus hoped to win. Ronaldo scored in the 65th minute to break the deadlock in the match, making it 1-0 to Juventus. Hellas Verona equalised in the 76th minute through Borini.
Juventus conceded a late penalty from a Bonucci handball. Pazzini converted the resultant penalty, to secure a shock comeback for Hellas Verona to make it 2-1 to the home side.
Some fans are however more focused on the loss, blaming his teammates for not rising to the occasion. Some fans even compared his situation to what Messi faces at Barcelona – carrying the team on his back while being let down by his teammates.
