Earlier in January of this year, right-wingers and other supporters of Donald Trump led a protest on Capitol Hill, looting, burning and destroying property. Helena’s mom was one of these. The interaction became heated and she was punched in the face after verbally attacking a black woman.
When the clip went viral, Helena was quick to call out her mom for her hypocrisy. She later updated fans that she had been kicked out of the home multiple times for her views and was eventually kicked out again by her parents. Who also threatened to stop paying her college tuition.
Hi this is the liberal lesbian of the family who has been kicked out multiple times for her views and for going to BLM protests to care what happens to me so:

picking up my entire existence that my mother so kindly put in trash bags was both the most painful and liberating experience I have ever had. There is something so indescribably beautiful about leaving 18 years of mental abuse in the past for good.

There is no way to confirm if her parents are making good on the threat, but Helena has taken to social media to try to crowdfund for her tuition. She has received an outpouring of support from strangers who have also shared about their estranged relationships with family during the Trump administration.
She has currently reached 32k followers on Twitter and is trying to use her followers to try to raise money for her tuition through gofundme.
She posted on gofundme:
” As you may know from recent Twitter and news sources I have called out my mother for her actions. At the moment I have no idea how I will be paying for college as I have little financial support. I have a dream of one day becoming a lawyer but I need help to get there. I hope to attend college and then go into the peace corps. Eventually, I hope to enter into law school. I want to make the world a better place I just need some help.”
