Rotimi Akeredulo's victory challenged in tribunal.

Rotimi Akeredulo’s victory challenged in tribunal. Eyitayo Jegede who was the PDP candidate for Ondo state governorship election held on the 10th of this month, has publicized his doubt on the victory of Governor Rotimi Akeredulo by taking him to the tribunal.

Recall that Rotimi was the governor of the state before the election held in the state on the 10th of this month, which he was crowned the winner on the 11th of this month by the Independent National Electoral Commission with a total vote of 292,830.

In the past,  GOVERNOR Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state has decried array of abandoned projects by the previous administration in the state describing them as a disgrace to governance and disservice to the people.

The victory of Akeredulo and the transparency of the INEC during the election is now in question as the People’s Democratic Party candidate,Eyitayo Jegede,  drags Akeredulo to tribunal to challenge his victory which he believed was given to him in an unfair manner.

Jedege emerged the second position in the states-general governorship election with a total vote of 195,791 and he is now convinced within him that the election was not fair and has legally taken Rotimi to court for clarity. He also said that there were irregularities, violence and intimidation of voters in some polling units in the state.

Mr Musa Bako, the governorship election petition tribunal secretary for the state disclosed that the tribunal’s proceedings would be in the state at the Hight court complex along Hospital road in Akure.

What do you think about Rotimi Akeredulo’s victory challenged in tribunal? Do you agree, did you vote?
